Looking For Harmony is the ambitious debut album from The One & Only Imaginary Band, produced by Allison Salazar and set for worldwide release in August 2026 under Zingerman & Zingerman Music.
Recorded at Z&ZM Studios, the project presents an expansive collection of 25 original songs, all composed and written by Allison Salazar except for “Für Harmony,” a special collaboration with Xavier Salazar. The album traverses an extraordinary range of genres—jazz, rock, rock & roll, progressive rock, avant‑garde, pop, rock‑pop, ballad, folk, lieder, and even thriller—showcasing both experimental breadth and melodic accessibility.
At its core, the album tells a poignant narrative: the story of Harmony, a little girl sent into the universe aboard Voyager 1 after the Apophis meteorite threatens to destroy Earth. As the last surviving earthling, Harmony drifts through space, dreaming of an ideal world filled with fantasy and nostalgia.
This concept imbues the record with emotional depth, blending imaginative storytelling with musical innovation.
Each track contributes to the unfolding journey, balancing moments of tenderness with bursts of dramatic energy, reflecting both the innocence of childhood and the gravity of humanity’s fate.
With its sweeping scope, Looking For Harmony is not only a debut but also a statement of artistic vision.
It positions The One & Only Imaginary Band as a daring new voice in contemporary music, while highlighting Allison Salazar’s compositional mastery and Xavier Salazar’s collaborative spirit.
By merging diverse styles with a cinematic storyline, the album offers listeners a unique experience—part musical odyssey, part emotional chronicle—destined to resonate across cultures and generations.
