The One & Only Imaginary Band was founded in 2021 by Allison Salazar as a visionary project designed to break away from the traditional idea of fixed band lineups. Instead of anchoring itself to a permanent roster of musicians, the band embraces fluidity—opening the door for evolving collaborations and new records regardless of who participates.

Their debut album, Looking For Harmony, is set to be released in April 2026 under Zingerman & Zingerman Music. Rooted in progressive rock, the record explores expansive soundscapes, layered instrumentation, and thematic depth, reflecting the band’s ethos of freedom, experimentation, and collective creativity.
