Ellie De la Fuente
Mexican singer primarily working in the genres of jazz, classical, pop‑ballad, rock, funk, folk, chill out, deep house, and huapango.
Discovered in 2020 by Allison Salazar, she released over three years: 24 singles, two live EPs — Statu Quo and Statu Quo II (Acoustic Version) — and three studio LPs: Azúcar y Sal, Lullabies LP (Piano Version), and Once Upon a Time, with “Saltarín” and “Coqueta – Demo” being her biggest hits to date.
During this time she has shared the stage with Zona Rika and has recorded in the studio with Kota, Zingerman, Phillip Vonesh, and Andrea Dibitonto.
An emerging songwriter with considerable talent, her early work is reflected in songs such as “Azúcar y Sal”, “Am Pm”, and “Pop!” (a collaboration with Zingerman). Likewise, in 2022 she wrote the song “Gracias” and actively contributed to the composition of “So Far Away”, recorded in Toronto, Canada; both tracks were released in 2023.
She also recorded a Chill Out/Lounge cover of “Bésame Mucho” (Consuelo Velázquez).
Five years after releasing her first single, “Paso a Paso”, she has surpassed 100,000 plays of her music on digital platforms.
